Risks Involved
The purpose of Commercial Insurance is to cover your company from claims that will have a significant financial adverse impact on your business.
To not have sufficient or indeed, any, Insurance cover will place the business, its owners and the employees at risk from events that they may have no control over. This is in addition to the legal risks of running a company without Insurance that is required by law.
Unfortunately, Commercial Insurance does not satisfy an immediate need and is in fact an intangible purchase and often a begrudged one; a characteristic that may sometimes entice businesses to disregard its worth. Those famous last words of “It’s never happened before” are often a curse!
Government figures suggest that nearly one third of all businesses suffer a major disruption every year, and 80% of those organisations close down within 18 months of the incident. With these figures in mind, can you really afford to be uninsured?
